On Wednesday, January 22, 2020 the International Society for Laboratory Hematology will host the first 2020 webinar in the e-Learning series: Hematology Test Validation.
The webinar will be held by Dr. Kandice Marchant (Medical Director, Hemostasis & Thrombosis Department of Laboratory Medicine Cleveland Clinic).
Learning Objectives:
- Discuss why validation of laboratory tests for clinical use is important
- Describe the difference in regulations that govern test validation from ISO 15189 to CLIA (Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments in the USA) and SCC (Standardization Council of Canada)
- Indicate the different requirements for test validation and verification and the categories of tests applicable to each category
All webinars will begin promptly at 11:00 AM Eastern Time US and are approximately 50 minutes long. There is no charge to participate in the live webinar.
