Summary
The appearance of autoantibodies correlated to systemic lupus erythematosus and the onset of the “drugs-induced lupus-like syndrome” (DILE) during determined pharmacological treatments is well known. We describe a case of conversion in DILE in a patient with juvenile idiopathic arthritis in treatment with Adalimumab. The potential etiopathogenetic mechanisms involved are examined, and the diagnostic contribution of the clinical laboratory in monitoring patients treated with biological drugs is evaluated. Key.word: autoantibodies, Lupus Like induced by drugs, adalimumab, biological drugs.
