Continuous Professional Development is a milestone for any scientific association. During the current debate about the role and relevance of the SIMeL Working groups, held in Villa Tacchi (Padua) last March, the recent White Paper on the regulation of Healthcare Professions in Britain and how its content could impact on professional education was a matter for general debate.
