Summary

Although von Willebrand disease (VWD) is the most common inherited bleeding disorder, diagnosis of patients with VWD continues to present challenges.
This presentation will offer clinical insights into the new diagnostic methods to identify VWD subtypes.
The central role of bleeding assessment tools in quantification of historical bleeding symptoms will be reviewed.
The evolution of platelet-dependent assays of von Willebrand factor (VWF) function and the utility of assessing VWF collagen binding will be highlighted.

All webinars will begin promptly at 11:00 AM Eastern Time US and are approximately 50 minutes long. There is no charge to participate in the live webinar.
